Global Knives' most innovative features are their edge and balance. The blade's edge is the most crucial aspect of any knife. Global's blades are made from proprietary Cromova 18 high-carbon stainless steel, which is ice-tempered and hardened to a Rockwell Hardness of 56-58. This steel maintains a razor-sharp edge for longer than any other steel, and it is resistant to rust, stains, and corrosion. The blade edge is ground on both sides, like Western-style blades, but it is ground to a straight point rather than a beveled edge, resulting in a razor-sharp edge that stays sharper for longer.

To balance the blade, all Global knives have a unique hollow handle filled with the right amount of sand to create the perfect balance. Global knives are truly unique, made in Niigata, Japan.

The Global knife set includes a 3" Paring Knife, a 4.5" Utility Knife, a 5" Chef's Utility/Prep Knife, a 5.5" Nakiri Knife, an 8" Chef's Knife, an 8" Bread Knife, and a Bamboo/Acrylic Knife Block.

The Cromova 18 high-carbon stainless steel blades are designed exclusively for Global, containing chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium. They are ice-tempered and have a Rockwell Hardness of 58°, allowing them to maintain a unique, razor-sharp convex edge for longer.

Global's signature stainless steel molded dimpled handle provides a safe grip and perfect balance. The blade edge is ground on each side, creating a symmetrical 50/50 bevel and a super-fine 15-degree edge.

Global knives are made in Japan and come with a limited lifetime warranty. Hand washing is recommended.
