Global 5-Piece Knife Block Set

Komin Yamada, a renowned industrial designer, has created the GLOBAL SAI, the first new line from GLOBAL in 25 years. This line pays homage to the Samurai tradition of sword making. The slightly longer curved ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip and features 7 signature black dots, which represent the 7 Samurai codes of honor and moral principles.

The patented Cordova 18 core (Chromium, Molybdenum, Vanadium, and Carbon) of the GLOBAL SAI blades features a beautiful hammered finish that produces air pockets. These air pockets help release food while cutting, giving the blade non-stick properties.

The 5 pc. Knife Block Set includes a 7 1/2" Chef's Knife, a 6" Utility Knife, a 6 1/2" Bread/Sandwich Knife, a 3 1/2" Paring Knife, and a Stainless Steel Ship Shape Knife Block - S-Size.

Every GLOBAL SAI blade is crafted from the finest stainless steel, Cordova 18, which is designed exclusively for GLOBAL. These blades are tempered and hardened to Rockwell C56 Degree-C58 Degree, allowing them to maintain their razor-sharp edges longer than other steel blades and resist rust, stains, and corrosion.

The GLOBAL SAI knives are lightweight and balanced, making them easy to handle in the kitchen. Their smooth contours and seamless construction eliminate food and dirt traps, ensuring a clean and efficient cooking experience.
