Introducing the Global 2 Piece Knife Set, featuring the Global Model X 8" Chef's Knife (GF-98) and the Global 3.5" Paring Knife (GS-38).

The newly designed Model X Chef's Knife offers a wider and thicker blade (2" height and 4mm spine thickness at the edge heel), providing more versatility and an improved balance. The longer, fuller handle has been re-designed for better control and comfort, especially with a chef's pinch grip. The signature dimple pattern not only adds a touch of style but also offers slip-resistance.

Crafted from the finest stainless steel called Cromova 18 (Chromium, Molybdenum, and Vanadium), these blades are specifically designed for Global. Ice-tempered and hardened to Rockwell 56-58 degrees, they maintain their razor-sharp edge longer than any other steel. This set is made in Japan with a lifetime warranty.

The Model X Chef's Knife has an 8" blade (13.25" overall), with a 2" height blade, 4mm spine thickness at the heel, and weighs 9.2 oz. (262g). Meanwhile, the Paring Knife has a 3.5" blade (7.6" overall), with a 3/4" blade height, 1.8mm spine thickness at the heel, and weighs 2.2 oz. (63g).
